It happens that there are no eggs at home, but you really want to cook something tasty to please yourself and your loved ones.
There is a time-tested grandma's recipe that will always help out.
Thanks to simple ingredients that almost everyone has at home, you can pamper yourself and your guests who are rushing for a cup of aromatic, freshly brewed tea.
Ingredients needed to make eggless cake:
- flour - 240 grams;
- cocoa, coffee (to taste) - 75 grams or 2 teaspoons;
- granulated sugar - 200 grams (a little less is possible);
- salt - 3 grams or a pinch;
- baking powder - 10 grams (1 packet);
- vanillin (optional);
- vinegar - a quarter teaspoon (it’s better to take apple cider vinegar).
Important! If you only have 9% vinegar in your home, you should add less than indicated.
- drinking water - 200 ml;
- sunflower oil (odorless) - 75 ml.
First, take all the dry ingredients. Add flour, sugar, cocoa (coffee), salt, baking powder, and vanillin one by one. Mix thoroughly with a whisk. Then pour in the sunflower oil in a thin stream.
Add vinegar to the water prepared in advance, stir and pour into a bowl. Beat the mixture thoroughly so that there are no lumps left. Set aside for 5-7 minutes to dissolve all the liquid products.
Then you need to take the dish in which the cake will be baked. A silicone mold is best, because it is much easier to remove the finished product from it than from a glass dish.
Before pouring the dough, the container must be greased with sunflower or melted butter. This is necessary so that the cake does not stick to the walls of the baking pan.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the form with the dough. Wait 30-35 minutes until the cake is completely cooked.
Important! It is better not to open the oven door during the baking process, so that the dough does not "fall". You can check the readiness with a regular toothpick. When there is no raw dough left on it, the cake is ready.
Let it cool down, take it out of the baking dish. Cut into several pieces. Serve. Enjoy!
