First, it is necessary to pay close attention to the form itself. Reputable manufacturers make notes that the form is truly food-grade, not technical.

Secondly, there should be an indication of temperature indicators (at what temperature you can bake, that is, the temperature range from and to).

Before first use, the mold must be calcined. After washing with a mild detergent and drying, grease only with vegetable oil (you only need a drop of oil) and put it in the oven for half an hour so that the mold is calcined.

During this time, all substances that were used in the manufacture will be heated out of the silicone and, of course, are not useful for manufacturing. When the heating process takes place, it is recommended to turn on the exhaust hood, because all the vapors will settle in the house.

Why is it necessary to carry out such preparation? The thing is that if you do not do this, then all the technical oils that are present will be absorbed into the products with each use, and the person will slowly eat them. After processing, the form must be washed, dried and used.

You can make wonderful muffins in silicone molds. Mix the standard dough, put it in the molds, filling them directly only one third. Put in the oven at 174 degrees Celsius (already preheated). Baking time is 15 minutes.

It is important to remember that silicone heats up quickly, but does not cool down as quickly, so armed with special devices, remove the mold from the oven and let it cool.

The advantage of such forms is that the baked masterpieces do not burn and do not stick to the walls. They are very convenient to use. Such forms are used for baking not only muffins, but also buns, bread, and cake layers.
