In Khrushchev-era apartments, the bathroom is usually combined with the toilet. Light, gloss and mirrors are the first rules for such a room.
A stretch and glossy ceiling will work well, the main thing is that it is monochromatic. A corner bath or shower cabin will help save space.
The sink and toilet can be corner, floor-standing (like a "washstand"), or suspended, and will be able to fit well and practically. The free space above the washing machine can be occupied by shelves for storing hygiene products.
