The first secret is to choose not only dark but also deep colors. They help to favorably shade the furnishings.

When creating a dark interior, it is worth paying attention to deep green, burgundy and dark gray colors for the walls.
In this case, the decor is chosen brighter. Contrast will eliminate excessive gloom and overload.
Materials and textures
Dark wood is an integral part of this interior option. It is better to use natural wood, but stylized wood in wenge shade will do as well.
For this occasion, both vintage and modern furniture made in a retro style are suitable.
The presence of metal elements is possible. These can be, for example, twisted handles and legs, furniture "under copper", matte black metal and gilding.
