- Regular - suitable only for dry cleaning. They can be vacuumed or dusted with a soft sponge. This type of wallpaper is only suitable for rooms where there is no humidity.
- Moisture-resistant wallpaper is wiped with a damp sponge, lightly brushing off dust. Experienced craftsmen advise not to rub the wallpaper when cleaning, as there is a high probability of ruining its pattern.
- Washable wallpaper should be washed with a sponge and laundry soap. This type is more resistant to water, so the pattern will not wash off during cleaning.
- Super-washable wallpaper can be pasted in the bathroom, kitchen, room and hallway. When washing, it is allowed to use the hardest products and brushes.
How to choose the right wallpaper for a room:
• It is recommended to buy wallpaper made of natural materials for the bedroom, living room and children's room. You can paste both regular paper and non-woven, vinyl or textile wallpaper.
• It is necessary to glue moisture-resistant wallpaper in the kitchen and bathroom, since there is a lot of moisture in such rooms.
• The hallway should be covered with wallpaper that absorbs moisture well or washable wallpaper.
Wallpaper that will hide uneven walls:
First of all, the unevenness of the walls will be hidden by putty and primer. If a person is looking for simple solutions, wallpaper sheets such as non-woven, liquid, glass and vinyl wallpaper will do the job perfectly. These types of wallpaper hide unevenness due to their multi-layer nature. Liquid wallpaper is applied to the walls like putty, allowing you to hide all the unevenness and give the wall a beautiful and even look.
Before purchasing wallpaper, it is recommended to pay attention to:
- Wallpaper rolls are selected from one batch - this can be seen on the label.
- When buying wallpaper, it is better to take a couple of rolls more. The reserve is necessary so that if the wallpaper is damaged or there is a shortage, there is no need to look for the same batch and pattern.
- Experts advise to carefully look at the integrity of the packaging and the canvas; the edges of the wallpaper should be even and whole.
