When decorating a hallway, various solutions can be used.
But some of them may turn out to be unsuccessful and only spoil the interior.
Yulia Tychino, an expert in interior design and interior design, told us which solutions are best not to use when decorating an entrance area.
It is not advisable to use natural wood for finishing the floor in the hallway.
Firstly, this material is very capricious and susceptible to various damages.
Secondly, the floor in the entrance area regularly comes into contact with moisture and other contaminants. And this can have a negative effect on the condition of the coating.
Therefore, it is worth choosing, for example, tiles. Also, a good solution would be to use porcelain stoneware.
A mirror is traditionally placed in the hallway.
Therefore, it is advisable to choose fairly large models that will be comfortable to look in.
If space does not allow you to install a floor mirror, then it can be placed on the door.
This will also visually make the space a little larger.
This solution for a small hallway with low ceilings can hardly be called appropriate and convenient.
After all, for example, you can accidentally touch the suspension.
Therefore, when decorating the entrance area, it is better to choose built-in lamps.
It is only important to distribute them so that the room is illuminated evenly.
You can provide an additional light source near the mirror or immediately choose an option with built-in lighting.
