Panda Katyusha given access to Moscow Zoo outdoor enclosure

With the arrival of spring weather, panda Katyusha was allowed to go out into the outdoor enclosure. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the Moscow Department of Culture and Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.
It is noted that since March 8, over 400 thousand visitors have observed the panda. At present, people visiting the zoo can see how Katyusha is getting used to the new territory.
According to Sergunina, specialists improved the enclosure and created all the conditions for Katyusha’s comfortable stay.
She noted that a zoologist from China participated in the arrangement of the enclosure.
It is also known that the craftsmen reduced the water level in the pool so that Katyusha could safely spend time there.
In addition, work was carried out to prepare the irrigation system to maintain normal humidity levels.
