It is also known that such changes in weight are a feature of the Pallas's cat. The thing is that in winter it is difficult for this predator to hunt because of its short paws, so it stores fat for the cold season.
According to the press service, the Pallas's cat does not suffer from hunger in winter. During this period, its diet becomes poorer.
They also noted that at the end of summer Timofey begins to be given more food. His weight is constantly monitored by specialists.
