The Moscow Zoo is a historical landmark of the Russian capital.

It attracts the attention of people from different cities because they can admire different species of animals and birds there.

Recently, a new inhabitant appeared in the zoo – a feathered predator of enormous size. The details are given on the official website of the mayor of Moscow.

The new inhabitant turned out to be a bearded vulture, or bearded vulture, a bird distinguished by its large size.

It is noted that the lamb came to Moscow from the Alma-Ata Zoo. Its gender is still unknown, and its age is young.

Once the sex is known, specialists will select a pair for the bird so that offspring will appear in the future. This will normalize the bird population.

It is also known that the bearded vulture is currently in the enclosure of the "Rock of Prey Birds" pavilion. There are balconies and an artificial mountain there.

It is added that the specialists tried to create the best conditions for the bird. Thanks to this, the resident quickly adapted to the new conditions.

The lamb's-foot is listed in the Red Book of Russia and the Red Book of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
