RIA Novosti reports details with reference to the President of the Russian Cynological Federation (RKF) Vladimir Golubev.
It is noted that training is teaching commands that enable participation in competitions. For example, some owners teach the animal to walk on its hind legs, to take an object.
Golubev emphasized that a well-trained dog can live without knowing commands, but it can calmly stay in the house without causing inconvenience to the owner. Such a pet goes to the toilet on schedule, walks outside without any particular difficulties.
He added that there are trained dogs that do not know how to calmly live in society. They can pull on the leash, throw and damage things in the house.
Taking this into account, the dog trainer believes that education is of paramount importance.
